Marco Tiberio (b. 1988) is a photographic artist and designer based in Amsterdam. His main field of interest is how human beings react to the changes in society and how they interact with it and the world they live in, being it physical or not. In his work he often makes use of digital photography and new technologies.
With art director and curator Maria Ghetti, he founded Defrost, creative studio and publishing house based in Amsterdam. His first book, Immorefugee, (published with art director and curator Maria Ghetti), was selected among the best photobooks of 2017.
In 2018 they published Enlarge Magazine, which is now sold-out.
In 2020 he has been a recipient of the Stimuleringsfonds to develop a photographic project about how society deals with memories of migrations and colonies during and after WW2.
Marco has been a guest teacher at the Academy of Architecture of Amsterdam.

In his practice as a front-end developer, Marco Tiberio has made experience working both on web development and design for several high-end clients. This helped him strengthening his entrepreneurial skills allowing him to bring a project from negotiation to delivery through design and development.
